Lauri Dunn

Trust Administrator

"You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose." Dr. Seuss

A born and bred Taupo local, Lauri has a vast knowledge of Taupo history and has seen many changes to the lovely Taupo district. After a long career in banking, Lauri went on to trust account administration first in the real estate industry and then as a solicitor’s trust account administrator. Having been involved in arranging home loans in banking, followed by home purchasing in real estate administration, Lauri has now completed the circle working in conveyancing. She still is excited for clients who are first homeowners and the satisfaction that they get when the keys are handed over! Lauri enjoys working in a boutique legal team environment as it offers her the chance to interact more with clients than the accounts books.

Personally, Lauri has one grandchild who she enjoys spending time with and is often on school trips to very exciting places! As one of seven children, she also enjoys socialising with her extended whanau and enjoying the local activities of the district.

Glenn McIlvride

Conveyancer

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage tofollow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary." Steve Jobs

Having spent two decades living in Okinawa, Japan, Glenn (Nicky’s brother) sold his business and returned with his young family to New Zealand in 2017. An entrepreneur at heart with both a Bachelor of Management Studies degree and a Master of Economics degree (obtained from a Japanese university), Glenn completed the Diploma in Conveyancing and joined the firm upon graduation in 2017 as a Registered Conveyancer. With a head for numbers and outstanding business management experience, Glenn quickly became an asset to the firm both in providing clients with support in residential property matters but excelling in the area of commercial transactions including sale and purchase of business, leases and franchise matters.
Professionally, Glenn enjoys working with clients to maximise their residential and commercial property opportunities and streamline their business affairs. Privately, you will find Glenn pounding the pavement at cross-fit or working on new and innovative manuka honey products for the Okinawa market. That’s when he is not in Covid-19 isolation – the life of an international jetsetter!
Glenn is currently in Japan but continues to provide business and administration support to the firm and works in the office when he is in Taupo.
